What Tovi is
Tovi is a financial technology company, operated by GenesisX Group LLC. Tovi is not a bank, a credit bureau, a consumer reporting agency, a lender, or a credit-repair organisation.
Tovi Reliability
Tovi Reliability is Tovi's own 0–100 read of how consistently you meet financial obligations, based on verified obligations, cash-flow coverage, liquidity, stability and trajectory. It is not a FICO score or a consumer credit score, it is not sold to anyone, and no lender uses it to decide anything about you.
Reporting
Eligible verified payment history may be furnished to a consumer reporting agency where supported and where you have approved that specific obligation. Not every category is accepted — insurance, childcare and tuition, for example, are commonly not — and Tovi shows you which of your obligations are eligible before you decide. Detection alone never turns a transaction into reported credit information.
As of the date above, no furnishing arrangement is live and no information has been sent to any consumer reporting agency.
Effect on your credit
Adding positive payment history may help some credit profiles and may make no difference to others. Results depend on your existing credit file, what is eligible for reporting, which bureau receives it, and which scoring model a lender uses. Tovi performs no hard credit inquiry and pulls no credit report.
Bank connection
Bank connections are provided by Plaid Inc. Access is read-only: Tovi cannot move money from a connected account, and never receives your online banking password. You can disconnect at any time from the You screen, which revokes the connection at Plaid and deletes the stored credential.
Illustrative examples
Figures shown on the marketing pages — $99,610, $4,615/mo, 84/100, and the payment histories beside them — are illustrative examples, not the results of any real person, and are labelled as such where they appear. When the site is running without a bank connection configured, every product screen carries a band saying the numbers are a demonstration.
